"First come, first served": Millionaire steals cap given to kid by player at US Open... and doesn't see the problem

On Thursday, August 28, during the US Open, a scene captured by cameras outraged the tennis world.
In the stands at Flushing Meadows, a Polish millionaire snatched the cap from a child 's hands that Kamil Majchrzak , the 76th-ranked player in the world, had just given him.
After his victory over Karen Khachanov, the 29-year-old Polish player took the time to thank his fans. He signed balls, exchanged smiles, and finally handed his cap to a young blond spectator leaning over the railing.
But even before the child can grasp it, an adult brutally grabs it . On television as well as on site, the incomprehension is total.
The identified thief is... a Polish millionaireThe man did not remain anonymous for long.
Thanks to the mass-shared images, Internet users quickly identified Piotr Szczerek , the boss of Drogbruk, a thriving paving company in Poland.
Faced with the controversy, the business leader began by closing his social accounts... before publishing a press release.
Instead of apologizing, Piotr Szczerek takes responsibility for his actions : "Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly. But as I've always said, in life, first come, first served, " he wrote, before denouncing a "disproportionate scandal" and threatening his detractors with legal action.
"I remind you that insulting a public figure incurs legal liability. All offensive, defamatory comments and innuendos will be analyzed to assess the possibility of bringing the matter before the courts," he warns.
A lunar defense, which increased online indignation tenfold.
A flood of negative online reviews about his companyMeanwhile, Kamil Majchrzak has taken matters into his own hands. He put out a plea on Instagram: "Hey guys, could you help me find my match's kid?"
The message circulated immediately, and two days later, the player posted a video of his encounter with the young fan. The latter left with gifts, including a new cap on his head.
While the child has regained his smile, Piotr Szczerek's reputation has been seriously tarnished. Online review sites are pouring down criticism of his company.
